"Lili Marlen" Café
Executive design project for a music café
The venue was designed and completed in 1997. The concept was to create a music café with a focus on jazz and film music. Located near the Grand Hotel in Sopot, it was also intended to function as a pub, attracting summer visitors. All furniture pieces, except for the chairs, were custom-made. The café's atmosphere was to be shaped by "quotes" from music, such as displayed vinyl records and photos of musicians and actors on the walls. The bar’s structure was made of steel elements and reinforced concrete panels. The lamps, made from projector spools, "Triangle" lamps, wall paintings, and other decorative elements were created by the designers.
