Optimum functionality based on ergonomic analysis

Based on the ergonomic analysis, we organized the space around the cash desk for use in chain stores. The goal was to ensure optimum functionality, as well as the physical and mental comfort of the employee based on the actual monitoring of the buying process in selected stores. The results of these analyses include a particular division of cash desk into zones and partitions and creation of pictograms which clearly define the place’s purpose. Ergonomic research and observation of the buying process enabled us to draw conclusions regarding the improvement of the basic sales activities.
